Privacy statement

What happens to your data when you visit our website or fill in a form.

Last updated on 18 October 2026.

Who is responsible?

UPrince BV, Kortrijkstraat 145, 8560 Wevelgem, Belgium, company number BE 0628.780.526, is responsible for the personal data you give us through this website.

Questions about privacy? Email info@uprince.com or call +32 (0) 496 58 03 46. We have not appointed a data protection officer: for a company of our size that is not required.

This statement covers the website www.uprince.com. For customers who use the UPrince platform, the terms in their contract apply.

What we collect and why

Contact form

Your name, email address and message, and, if you fill them in, your company, phone number and subject. We use them only to answer and follow up your question. Basis: your consent, which you give with the tick box below the form.

Demo request

Your name, company, role, sector, company size, email address and what you tell us about how you work today, and, if you fill it in, your phone number. We use them to schedule, prepare and follow up the demo. Basis: your consent, and the steps you ask for yourself before a possible contract.

ROI calculator

As long as you send nothing, your figures stay in your browser. If you ask for the overview as a PDF, we receive your email address, the sector you chose, the calculated amount and the PDF. We email you the PDF and then send you at most one short follow-up email. We do not keep the PDF itself: it only goes to your mailbox. Basis: your own request for the PDF, and our legitimate interest in following up once. If you do not want that follow-up, let us know.

Protection against spam and abuse

We check every submission for spam automatically. For the PDF form we keep your IP address in the server's memory for at most one hour, to count how often the form is sent from the same address. Our hosting keeps technical logs, which may contain the email address of a rejected submission. Basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the website and our mailbox.

Website statistics (Umami)

We count visits with Umami. Umami sets no cookies and stores no IP addresses. We only see totals: which pages are viewed, which website visitors come from, browser, operating system, device type and country. That does not let us recognise you. Basis: our legitimate interest in improving the website.

How the website is used (Microsoft Clarity)

Microsoft Clarity shows us how visitors use our pages: where they click, how far they scroll and where they get stuck. To do that, Clarity makes heatmaps and recordings of visits. We have set Clarity up so that it sets no cookies, and Clarity masks what you type into form fields. Clarity knows your device, browser and country, but not your name. Basis: our legitimate interest in improving the website. More in Microsoft's privacy statement.

Your language choice

If you pick a language with the language switcher, your browser remembers that choice in its local storage. The choice stays on your own device and never reaches us.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies. That is why you see no cookie banner.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising. We do work with a few service providers that process data on our behalf:

  • Microsoft: hosting of the website and the forms (Azure), our mailbox (Microsoft 365) and usage analysis (Clarity).
  • Twilio SendGrid: sends the emails from our forms.
  • Umami: website statistics, without cookies or IP addresses.

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Those transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

If the law requires it, we pass data on to a competent authority.

How long we keep data

  • Messages, demo requests and PDF requests: as long as we follow up your request, and at most two years after our last contact. If you become a customer, the terms in your contract apply.
  • IP addresses against abuse: at most one hour.
  • Technical hosting logs: at most 90 days.
  • Umami statistics: six months.
  • Clarity: recordings 30 days, heatmaps and totals 13 months.

Your rights

You can always ask us:

  • what data we hold about you (access);
  • to correct it;
  • to erase it;
  • to restrict how we use it;
  • to send it to you or another company in a common format (portability).

You can withdraw your consent at any time, and object to what we do on the basis of our legitimate interest, such as the follow-up email after a PDF request. To do so, email info@uprince.com. We answer within one month.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, www.dataprotectionauthority.be.

Security

The website only works over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Forms are checked on the server, and only the people at UPrince who follow up your request read your message.
