UPrince started on the job site. For years, our managing director Kurt saw the same scene: site managers hammering work orders into Excel at the kitchen table in the evening, project managers who only knew their margin per site three weeks after the fact, and accountants trying to close the year from a pile of loose emails.

The conclusion was simple: there was no software that brought the way utility contractors actually work together on one track. Plenty of "all-in-one" promises, very few that spoke a site manager's language. So we built it ourselves.

UPrince follows one fixed project structure: your site broken down into concrete pieces of work, with a schedule, a budget and a risk overview that are tied together. Not four separate Excel files. Not four separate tools that also have to talk to each other by email. One file that runs from quote to final settlement. That structure is based on the PRINCE2 method.
